Uncommon Service Weekend

"It’s incredible the way God uses each of us. I went into my project believing I would be enriching the lives of others. You know who got the most out of it? Me!"  ~ Scott (Bo) Bowman

One of our objectives as a church is to really love each other and one of the ways we can do that is through service to others. That’s what Uncommon Service Weekend is all about.

Once a year, during Uncommon Service Weekend, traditional church services are cancelled and instead, the church body goes out into local communities and worships God by serving others. The projects can range from simple cleaning, painting and yard work, to more extensive building and repair work. There are activities for all ages and skill levels.  Those receiving support do not have to be Cornerstone attendees.
