Children matter at Cornerstone!

We consider children to be incredible gifts from our heavenly Father. That's why we strive to minister to kids in fun, exciting, and relevant ways so that Christ will be FORMed in them...

Finding Jesus to Be Their Personal Savior

More than anything else, we want to see kids in this church and throughout the area come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Opening Their Hearts in Service to God and Others

Through biblically based lessons and servant-minded teachers, we show our children how important it is for each of us to serve God and those around us.

Reaching Out to Take the Gospel to the World

We also teach our kids about God's desire for us to share His love with others...and then we demonstrate creative and fun ways that they can share their faith with the world.

Maturing in Christ

By helping our children grow in Christ while they are young, we instill in them the principles and values that will last a lifetime.

With these four principles in mind, we provide our children with classes, activities, and programs that are biblically based and, most of all, a lot of fun! On weekend services, Wednesday nights, and other special occasions, we have age-specific ministry for the following groups:

  • Birth to 2 years (nursery age)
  • Two-year-olds
  • Three-year-olds to kindergarten
  • Grades 1-5

And There's More!

On top of our regularly scheduled children's programs, we also give kids the chance to take part in some great special events and outreaches, including...

  • Summer Camp-In
  • Harvest Festival
  • Easter and Christmas musicals
  • Bell choir
  • Operation Christmas Child

Finally...Safety First!

Because our kids are so precious to us, we take every possible precaution in protecting them and keeping them safe while they are in the church building. We have a check-in security system, and we also require that all volunteers pass a clearance test before they can work with our kids. Lastly, we do everything we can to ensure that our facilities are neat, clean, and free of any potential hazards to children.
