Dr. Randy Stringer -- Worldview 101

Understanding the world around us from a biblical perspective

is critical to our growth as a Christian. Worldview 101

examines Christ in conjunction with our culture that is purely

anti-Christ. You will be given tools to help you live as a Christian

in a non-Christian world. Learn to become an Upstream

Christian in a Downstream World.

  • Books: The Universe Next Door by James Sire and Rethinking Worldview by J. Mark Bertrand.
  • Dr. Randy Stringer is an Associate Professor of Religion at Grove City College. He has been a professor at

Grove City College since 1993, teaching classes in Christian Education, Bible, Theology and the Humanities.

Dr. Jim Bibza -- Sermon on the Mount

The Sermon on the Mount is arguably the greatest sermon ever given. Christians throughout the ages have found both inspiration and intense challenge from studying this sermon. For the next 5 weeks, we will dig into what Jesus meant by the Beatitudes, the 6 Antitheses, His practical observations about fasting, praying and caring for the poor and not worrying about tomorrow. We will attempt to build our faith on the solid rock of Jesus’ teaching and not the shifting sands of merely human wisdom.

Dr. Jim Bibza holds a Masters of Divinity and a PhD. He’s served as a Grove City College professor for 35

years and as a Presbyterian pastor for 31 years.

Dr. Connie Clark -- The Journey for Personal Change

As a Christian, do you sometimes feel that something is hindering the abundant life God planned for you? Do you long to change and be different but continue falling back into the same patterns or habits that keep you stuck?

Dr. Connie Clark, a Christian psychologist will show you how to step back, look at obstacles in your life and make intentional decisions about embracing the life God created you to experience.

  • Books: Changes That Heal, by Dr. Henry Cloud and Sacred Pathways, by Gary Thomas
  • Dr. Connie Clark holds a BS, MA and PhD in Psychology. She has been in private practice for 17 years.

In addition to her counseling, she has taught Marriage & Family, Sociology and Psychology as a Professor

of Psychology. She enjoys teaching and interacting with God's people.

  • ORIGINS

Too often our public educational system implies that macroevolution is a proven fact and that creation by an intelligent designer has no intellectual credibility. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our Origins class will bring four very capable creation scientists to address the same scientific data as a local, middle school textbook but from an intelligent design perspective. Our goal will be to equip parents to discuss with their children what they are learning in school, and to give our young people positive examples of godly men of faith who do good science.

This six-week class is open to middle-school students through adults.
